Hello,
these medications do not cause such side effects. And the pain that you are describing does not seem to be heart related. Still, considering history of cardiomyopathy, get your ecg done once. Revert back online in case of any queries.
Take care. Stay safe.

You can use fish oil but it has not shown any proven mortality benefit, but you can use there is no harm.
Also I hope his angiography has been done to rule out blockages in his coronaries also I recommend the new drug tab vymada to increase his pumping! ofcourse cardace needs to be stopped first before starting this and discuss with your cardiologist regarding this drug as its an expensive one. Tc.

Hi Lybrate user. The water retention or generalised swelling could be because of renal failure or low serum albumin which is a consequence of poor nutrition as well as any critical illness. The treatment is diuretics (dytor is a diuretic), fluid restriction and correcting the primary condition. Although a physical consultation in person is very important before advising. Especially since you are saying the creatinine is rising. So do consult your nephrologist or you can contact me.
