Both of them have the same drug.
But each ones absorption and duration of action is modified by manufacturing process of the drug.
If your doctor has prescribed it for fits control, she/he must have calculated the peak action of the drug around the time of fits. So, take accordingly for effective control of fits.

Dear lybrate-user, positional vertigo is not a side effect of levesam. Instead it is a disease itself bppv. The drug vertin only acts when their is associated vestibular rehabilitation excercises and then treated with integrated balance therapy provided their is no bppv.in bppv treatment is by particle repositioning maneuvures and there is no role of madication. She should be investigated further if she hads first time seizure at this age. Continue leviteracetam for her seizure disorder, post ictal confusion adn psychological changes occur but may be transient, better to get evaluated by a psychiatrist or a neurologist, if the confusion is prolonged. Brahmi may be given but thet will not be all. Please get evaluated.

Epilepsy is due to a variety of causes. It can be cured in some with acquired causes but not in those with genetic or irreversible acquired causes. The minimum duration for your drugs is 2 years in most cases but in case you have been labelled jme, you are required to take ot lifelong.
