Hi doctor, I want to know, can I give torex tablet to my 8 years old child for running nose his temperature is 99.0?

Torex is a cough syrup not meant for running nose and fever.
Medication under prescription is advisable
saliine gargle and steam inhalation may be beneficial.

Chlorpheniramine may cause sedation. There are better medications with lesser side effects for that.

take sinarest one tab at night for 3 days. take honitus 2 tsf 2 times a day for 3 days. do gargle, take steam. inform if not ok.
do cbc, esr, x ray chest pa. consult physician.

You have to do complete blood examination including ESR, Mantoux test, Sputum Examination, Xray chest to find out the reason for your cough. consult chest physician

You can. The point is why would you want to give medicine for cold. Cold is a viral infection which will go away on it’s own. Allow your child’s immunity to fight it. It will improve her resistance to such common infections. Use medication only if she is in genuine discomfort or developed a fever.
