Dear Labrate user, you are suffering from productive cough and taking cough syrup given by the chemist. Firstly if this cough is of short duration 3-4 day and not associated with fever and other symptom then it's ok. Otherwise you need thorough checkup.

Hi. I can understand your concern. It must be a viral infection try stem inhalation and warm salt water gargling. Also give her drink lots of fluids and fruits rich in vitamin c like mausambi, orange etc which will help come over the infection faster. If her cough does not settle she will need chest x ray to rule out lung infection.
Don't worry, she will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. Wish you good health. Thanks.

There is no medical proof and is only an unexplained rumour that we should not use soap and talcum powder with menthol and there is no connection between all.

Don't wash your hair more than twice a week if you have thick, curly, or coarse hair. Too much washing strips the hair of its natural oils, which can make it dry and frizzy. Let's discuss your problem in detail for better advice and healthy lifestyle.

Chlorpheniramine may cause sedation. There are better medications with lesser side effects for that.
