Dear Doctor, Please note that I am an ex servicemen aged 73 and a COPD patient for the last 5 years and taking Easyflow 250 inhaler one puff in the evening and tiova inhaler 9 mcg 2 puff in the afternoon. Also I am taking TARGIT H 40 one tab daily morning for BP. My blood pressure just now is 148 Syst and 74 Diastolic and Pulse rate is 84. I have constipation and the stool passing once two / three days. It is so hard and dry. I had tried Honey + Nimbu with hot water in the morning as per one of your direction which are given common to the public. My weight is gradually coming down from 59 kg to 55 kg in two years time. I take normal food. Also I do yoga and mild exercise in the morning for half an hour. No smoking or drinking. For quite some time I am not able to sleep in day time. After laying down on the bed for about half and hours my calf muscles and elbow from shoulder to below have a disturbed feeling but no numbness. Due to this in the night also am not getting sleep after 3-4 hours sleep. I have no cardiac problem and no other deficiency. I have undergone a cardiac check up including TMP and relevant blood test in May 2017. All results were normal. Kindly review my case and advise me at your earliest convenience. Thanking you

Better get a PFT and ABG done to assess lung functioning. In advanced and uncontrolled COPD one can loose weight. Increase calorie intake specialy fat portion and do some weight exercise under a pulmonary rehabilitation progrrame to tone up muscle. There are nes bronchodialatores for COPD having glycopyrium and indacatrol combimation which are taken once/day with better contro of copd symtoms.

Hello.
Oriprim ds contains trimethoprim and sulphomethoxazole and it is better to be avoided in pregnancy unless benefits of these drugs outweighs risks. There are only very indications in modern obstetrics where this drug us recommend.

The antibiotic trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole and the H2-blocker cimetidine are 2 commonly used drugs that decrease the secretion of creatinine. This can result in a self-limited and reversible increase in the serum creatinine level of as much as 0.4 to 0.5 mg/dL (depending on baseline serum creatinine level).

Antibiotics used in prostatis
oral antibiotics are the mainstay of treatment prostatis.
1. Fluroquinoles 2.trimethoprim'
3.sulfamethoxazole.
For prostatis you have take antibiotics eor 4-6 weeks
in some cases prostatis can get better on its own.
Prostatic massage is also another option.
It can help ease pressure and swelling by releasing fluids that build up in the prostate.
