Meftal is fine but you can take meftal spas. That would be better. Take care that the bleeding is adequate and complete. Light diet is advisable.

No, it can be taken during menses for spasmodic pain that is dysmenorrhoea. But excess of anything is always avoided. If you want to conceive, take care that you do not take any painkiller during ovulation time.
