Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. It appears that some other doctor must have answered you earlier. As I do not recommend thyropace in the treatment of hypothyroidism. This has absolutely no role to play. The only treatment for hypothyroidism is taking an adequate dose of levothyroxine and maintain tsh around 3 to 4 mu/l. At that level all the symptoms are in check. Brain fog as stated could be due to inadequate treatment. So please check your tsh and...more

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for your query.
Hypothyroidism is a condition wher thyroid gland is either under active or not producing the hormone Thyroxine at all. Because of this TSH is high. This hormone tries to stimulate thyroid to produce thyroxine.
Thyroxine is an essential hormone required for day to day functioning of various vital functions in the body, it has to be supplied from outside and that too for lifetime. There is NO CURE, for this condition. When on treatment it is necessa...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details given In that there is no mention about how is your blood glucose and BP controlled, what are the drugs being taken for those conditions and their dosage. Plus no mention about weight, diet and exercise etc. Plus I am unable to understand why are you asking about taking 300 mg of Thyroxine.
That is a hormone, only used in treating hypothyroidism. It is used in microgram strength. Thanks.
