But take Thyronorm 50 mcg empty stomach and milk or tea one hour later
Iodised tata salt in salad and fruits
Recheck after 6 weeks
Skip dose on day of testing

Sleepiness is because of hypothyroidism. Get blood tests for FT4 and TSH and if necessary increase dose of Eltroxin. Consult Endocrinologist.

We should reduce the thyronorm medication To 100 mcg and To clear your doubts get an ultrasound pelvis done to rule out any pathology and follow up with reports.

I have seen the details mentioned. It appears that some other doctor must have answered you earlier. As I do not recommend thyropace in the treatment of hypothyroidism. This has absolutely no role to play. The only treatment for hypothyroidism is taking an adequate dose of levothyroxine and maintain tsh around 3 to 4 mu/l. Hypothyroidism is a condition wher thyroid gland is either under active or not producing the hormone Thyroxine at all. Because of this TSH is high. This hormone tries to stimulate thyroid to produce thyroxine.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details given In that there is no mention about how is your blood glucose and BP controlled, what are the drugs being taken for those conditions and their dosage. Plus no mention about weight, diet and exercise etc. Plus I am unable to understand why are you asking about taking 300 mg of Thyroxine.
That is a hormone, only used in treating hypothyroidism. It is used in microgram strength. Thanks.
