Asked for female, 42 years old from Gurgaon

I am trying for 2nd child and had 2 missed abortions, 1 ectopic and 1 termination (since there was no heart beat). In last 3 pregnancy, I was on low molecular heparin injection as recommended by my Gynaecologist. I have 1 daughter, she is 8. I have consulted Genetic consultant and he suggested to go for LIT Therapy after doing necessary tests and close similarities of HLA DQ similarity in the couple. I am not sure about the LIT Therapy and its consequences, so wanted to know. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hello,
Lymphocyte Immunization Therapy or LIT is a procedure whereby white blood cells from the prospective father are injected into the skin of the prospective mother to prepare the maternal immune system for pregnancy.Efficacy of LIT remains a concern of many reproductive immunologists. Based on some studies, efficacy was not demonstrated. low molecular weight heparin is a good option.

I had deep vain thrombosis and I am under medication for a little more than a year. Initially I had heparin Injections followed by acitrom followed by Warfarin. If I sit for an hour or so, I find swelling on my left leg which had DVR. Moreover my left leg skin has turned black. How can I overcome these problems? I'm 58 years with body weight of 114 kgs and height of 5 feet 10 inches.

I am 21 and have had pcos and thyroids form when I was 13 had my right ovary removed due to torsion still on metformin and thyroid medication had 1 miscarriage at 3 months and 2 chemical pregnancy next pregnancy have to take heparin injections too. Now I'm prescribed with duphaston 10 mg for 10 days from cycle day 10 for 3 months and then try for conceiving. Why is this given to me? How will it help me with conceiving?

Please get an APLA test done, in addition to the heparin you must also take ecosprin at the onset of next pregnancy. Take duphaston only after confirmed ovulation.

And told abortion takes place un explained. doctor told that .In next pregnancy to do heparin ini. My question is that in next pregnancy is it helpful? Is it success. please give me a answer. Am totally worried. Because the doctor said unexplained abortion. we also done dna test. Test was normal.

M 9 weeks pregnant I did my tvs in 8 weeks 5 days report is 8 weeks 2 days live embroy. I had two early pregnancy losses last year. M on progesterone, aspirin and also heparin injection. Continue taking low molecular weight heparin and ecosprin, she can also take argippreg sachet and tab lycopene daily, she should take protein rich diet ,do regular exercises and take beet root juice daily.

Namaste sir/madam. I am suffering with right arm pain from wrist to elbow sometimes to shoulder too due to injury caused by a fighting. I can not sleep at night due to intense ache and warmness in arm. Feeling like my blood flowing and gathering in one place when I move my arm. No black spot or patches due to injury. Feeling like a stretching pain. Doing heat therapy. Taking otc pain medicine diclofenac, serrapeptidase, making massage with thrombophob ointment. But getting worse. I had 4 month old baby. One month before I had done the 2 1/2 month vaccination. After 10 days swell was came. And pain also there. I consulted the doctor they give antibiotics for 7 days. And he suggested apply the ice per day 7 times. I followed same. After swell was came heavy. Again I consulted the doctor he advising the surgery to the vaccination place. And I refused there. Again I consulted other doctor she given me thrombophob ointment. After applying this little bit results ok. Still I am using this ointment. What can I do. Pls give me reply.

A nodule formation at the site of vaccination is a common problem and it does not require any treatment. If it looks reddish, painful on touching, it may need surgical drainage as it may be an abscess.

Hi, I am a 23 year old male. 4 years ago, I had a football injury which I initially ignored. Since then, I have done my left foot mri two times and no orthopedic deformity was detected. Then I went for a doppler test and there I was diagnosed with superficial vein thrombosis. I searched and found out that these clots in superficial veins gets healed in 3 or 4 weeks. But I am suffering from it from the last 4 years? I am confused and in stress whether this is even possible. I overthink about the possibilities of dvt. Pls any vascular surgeon help me. I am a fit guy. I can not wear socks and at night, it just burns. I am applying thrombophob gel on the affected part. Please anyone help me.

Hello lybrate-user, superficial venous thrombosis is as such itself is not very dangerous, the important point is to find out why it has happened. A injury 4 years back (probably not that major as you could ignore that) is not very convincing as the primary cause. For burning at night, you can have methycobal 1500 mcg intramuscular injection.
