In the knee below the cup and inside to the knee I feeling pain when straight or fold the leg for about 15 days. I have hypothyroidism and taking 87. 5 mcg. Recent 20 days ago I am taking zandu (vit d) (weekly once), folvite 5 mg (folic acid once a day), glacizyme (2 times a day), tetracycline cap (2 times a day), xl-mont (once a day), nurokind 1500 (one a day). What is the problem? Why I am feeling pain? I had this type issue in below hip pain while walking 2 times in these 5 years and after taking some vitamin caps the pain was gone.

An inflammation has developed on scrotum with pus flowing out every few days. This inflammation or large acne has been on my scrotum since one and half month. It is painful but bearable. Similar inflammation had in past developed above penis. This had taken place twice in 2018, 2019. The treatment performed by doctor was a minor surgery. Another time the dermatologist had prescribed microdox lbx. But this time the lab reports of the sample collected from pus showed that my body is tetracycline resistant and hence I am advised to take amoxicillin 500 mg tab flemiclav for 5 days twice a day. I would appreciate help to know the actual cause of problem leading to this inflammation repeatedly. What care should I take after completion of this course so that such inflammation or acne does not develop again.

Hello. For now control the infection by taking proper course of antibiotics as prescribed by the dermatolgist. Find out the cause of such recurent pus filled lesion and then definite treatment can be planned. Be under regular follow up with the dermatolgist. Thanks.

Hi, my wife got fever, so when consulted to doctor and had urine test, found she had urine infection so doctor suggested some medicines (UTIKIT - probiotic and probiotic capsules and Cefakind 250). Doctor also advised to get urine test done for me to see if there is any infection, so I had too done the urine test but my doctor is unavailable and out of station for 2 weeks. So I am posting the report details here, so please check and suggest me if I too had any infection and if so please suggest what to do. Report Result: Specimen: Urine Smear Report (Gram Strain): 3-5 pus cells, 1-2 epithelial cells and Gram negative Bacilli were seen. Isolate - 1: klebsiella oxytoca COLONY COUNT: >1, 00, 000/ml ANTIBIOTIC SENSITIVITY Highly Sensitive to: Amikacin, Aztreonam, Cefepime, Cefotoxime, Ceftazidime, Ceftriaxone, Cefuroxime, Gentamicin, Imipenem, Levofloxacin, Netillin, piperacillin/Tazobactam. Moderately Sensitive to: Cefoperazone Resistant to: Amoxyclav, Ampicillin/Sulbactam cefaclor, Cefixime cefpodoxime, ciprofloxacin co trimoxazole nalidixic acid, nitrofurantoin, norfloxacin, ofloxacin, tetracycline * End of Report ** Please examine above report and advise me if I too had any infection and if so what medications? Going by the reports, you need to treat both simultaneously and avoid coitus till future samples from both of you show no growth on culture. Treatment from your physician with a drug from the most sensitive to antibiotic group for sufficient duration is mandatory.

She's not able to control her urine & so almost 2-3 times daily it leaks out. We got her urine routine & culture+sensitivity test done last week whose results. Colour: yellow appearance: clear sp. Gravity: 1.030 ph: acidic protein: negative glucose: negative ketone: negative urobilinogen: negative bilirubin: negative nitrite: negative blood: negative ascorbic: negative urine cells - wbc: large no/hpf rbc: 2-3/hpf epithelial cells: 1+ /lpf urine crystals- amorphous urate: 1+ misc- mucus: 2+ culture- growth condition: aerobic at 35-37 c for 24 hours culture yielded: escherichia coli isolated sensitive to-augmentin 2+, ceftriaxone 2+, azithromycin 1+, nalidixic acid 1+ resistant to- licomycin, gentamycin, bacitracin, tetracycline, amikacin, ciplox. I request you to kindly prescribe medication for her as she can't visit a Dr. Personally due to urine leakage problem. Thank you.
