Was the wound deep? If it's just superficial and scissor was not very unclean then chance of tetanus is very less even otherwise since you have been immunised already with tt 3 months back there is no role for it now.

Hi. I understand your concerns. For chronic sinusitis regular steam inhalation and intranasal corticosteroid will give you relief. see a pulmonologist /allergist for the same. For dog bite since it was a stray dog and you had blood after bite complete schedule of vaccine along with anti rabies immunoglobulin is recommended. See a doctor for the same and also try to observe dog for any symptoms. Hope your questions were answered. Thanks.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
By taking two doses of tetanus toxoid at a gap of one month you are on the right track. Get your third dose after 6 months and then you are immunized for 5 years.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

I do not think so. A single shot of tt helps for upto 5 years. Keep the wound clean and dry. Lookout for any purulent discharge.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. If hypothyroidism is diagnosed with TSH value of 48.09 mU/L, then treatment has to be with levothyroxine. Dosage is calculated on the basis of patient's weight, T4 & TSH values. It is better to begin with 50 mcg per day, then test TSH after 6 weeks and lf level is more than 3 to 4 mU/L then dose has to be increased. If you have any doubts please come back, thanks.
