Alcohol becomes a problem if a person feels compelled to take it everyday and he suffers from withdrawl symptoms like craving, restlessnes,sweating, nausea sleep problems, anxiety etc, when ever he tries to stop it. So the actual problem is pattern of intake. If you are a social drinker then its not a problem.

Hi, thanks for your query.
Since you already had taken a tetanus toxoid inj. Recently, there is no need for a booster dose. If the wound isn't too deep and it's clean get a regular dressing done or if manageable with a bandage, use it. If the wound is contaminated or the cut was by an unclean instrument chance of infection is present. In such a case it would be advisable to start a antibiotic like amoxicillin. Injection gives one year protection. If you take 1 per month for a 3 month period you get immunity for 3 years.
