Hello. Oral medication (like terbinafine / itraconazole) is advised only in severe or long standing cases of seborrheic dermatitis (though not helpful). Depending upon the severity of s.d you can use ketoconazol/ zinc / cyclopirox/ salicylic acid shampoo, alone or combination. Biotin, multivitamin, minerals are essential for hair growth, you can take if there is ny deficiency .visit nearest dermatolgist. Thanks.

None of above. All have side effects and results are temporary. I advise you to take homoeopathic treatment for complete cure without side effects. You can consult me online for treatment and guidance.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user,
ideally you should be asking the question to your doctor who prescribed the treatment. Polyps commonly occur in the nose and are treated with low dose steroid nasal spray (fluticasone) usually for 3- 4 months or longer based on individual patient response. The inhaler is used for treating breathing difficulties in the lungs such as in asthma, copd, etc. Since it is not clear from the information you provided whether you have only polyps or there is lung disease as well...more

Enlarged inferior turbinates are one of the causes for blocking of the nose. A steroid nasal spray helps to a certain extent but the mechanical problem has to be rectified. Turbinectomy (trimming of the turbinates) will help by allowing more air flow inside the nostrils & the blocking will come down considerably. Medication will only work if you have an allergic component. Consult an ent surgeon who will diagnose & treat you accordingly.

Every patient has 3 choices: 1.Allopathy - gives quick results but is not very safe for long term use.
2.Homeopathy- is safe but very slow and in most of cases it can not stop the spread of disease i.e old patches show some recovery but new white patches continue to come even while using the medication.
3.Ayurveda -If one thinks about. It is difficult to find a good Consultant.
There are many queries about differential diagnosis ,causes ,triggers, is it genetic, diet, curable etc.more
