Donot apply mometasone. Use depiwhite in the night and a good sunscreen in the morning and afternoon.

Skin shine though gives good results has harmful steroid and causes skin damage if used for long. It can be used for short term like 2 months not more than that. Use Sun Screen thrice a day. Consult a dermatologist before starting anything.
