PEP is effective, if started as early as possible, within 72 hours of the exposure and if continued regularly for 28 days. There could be minimal nausea or vomiting sensation when initiated with the combination which you have initiated.
Before initiation, it is suggested to know your Baseline status of HIV and also for HBV and HCV.

You can take it together, better for adherence. Pl also think. Of risk of other STDs. Do HIV HBsAg and VDRL tests after 90 days of exposure. In the meanwhile please take private consult with audio video chat and then I can guide you properly and explain you what is to be done.

Risk of acquisition of HIV depends on various factors like HIV status of the source, viral load, whether the source was on Antiretroviral, duration of treatment, various host factors. The important thing is that you have started with the right treatment, complete the course and then get the Recommended test. PEP reduces the chances of HIV acquisition to a large extent.
