I am a guy with long hairs (till my shoulders) some times my head gets itchy. What should i do, sometimes Selsun shampoo helps and sometimes not. When i use tenovate-M with water on my head, it helps a lot but its difficult to apply. As soon as i stop using it, itching starts again after some days. What is the problem ? And can i have a shampoo that can help and has something like tenovate-M in it.

Hello. Please visit a dermatologist for a proper scalp examination. Tenovate M is a steroid and should not be used without Doctor's supervision. It will give you temporary relief and its long term use can produce side effects. So please use anti dandruff shampoos but not the steroid cream on your own.

Stop using lobate
It increases ur problem
U have fungal infection
It spreads to other areas also
Have to use a course of tablets and creams for that to heal completely and permanently
Improve personal hygiene
Bath twice daily
Wear fresh cloths after bath
Reduce inner wear to increase ventilation to that area
Change towel frequently
Use seperate antifungal soap
Use cotton pants rather than jeans

Stop lobate gm since it is a steroid and can have side effects. Use k-z cream twice a day on itchy areas for a month. Wear loose breathable fabrics to avoid sweating.
