Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the query. There is absolutely no mention of fasting, pp glucose as well as hba1c%. Without knowing that no comments can be made. First and foremost is to achieve a strict glucose control. The product mentioned is not clinically proven as the claims are being made. So once you are in good control then you can add as an adjuvant. Thanks.

There could be several reasons of constipation. Vitamins generally have a mild laxative effect so that should not be the reason. I hope your thyroid profile has been done. If not please consult your treating doctor for the same. For constipation, take plenty of fluids, high fibre diet and hot milk at bedtime.

Metformin has been given for pcod. This condition may cause insulin resistance leading to high blood sugar. This drug helps to keep the insulin resistance normal thus helping in treatment of pcod. Letrozole has been given for ovulation.

Yes, there are alternatives to metformin. You need to talk to your doctor about intolerance to metformin and he or she can prescribe other medications.

Hello, thanks for the query.
There is no difference in terms of drug action with either of these tablets. It is just the different name given by each company. Thanks.

Whether you should continue metformin or not, depends on your fasting and pp sugar levels. Kindly get your sugar tested and share reports. If reports are normal, you might have to continue, as they are normal cause you are taking metformin. However if they are low, it can be stopped.
Metformin does not cause hair fall.
Check for other vitamin deficiency.
Eat healthy. Follow strict diabetic diet. Exercise regularly.

If only metformin is taken it should be after food. If sustained release tablet is there then od may ok. If not twice a day is better. Side effects are less if taken after food.
