Dear User, You can use Euglim- M2 instead of Glimistin M2 and Teniva M instead of Moglin M. Both these medicines have the same composition, so they can be used. If you found my answer helpful, please leave a Positive feedback as it helps me with my Practice. Thank you.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
It is difficult give a clear answer whether a SGLT - 2 Inhibitor can be added to existing therapy withput knowing full details of the case. I need to know the following: Fasting, PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, weight, height, serum creatinine & urea levels, eGFR and whethe there is microalbuminura. If kidney function is compromised or eGFR is low, then certain drugs can not be sude including metformin and SGLT-2 Inhibitors. Thanks.

The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. We remain seated most of the time and stand for very short periods of time. Unfortunately walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. This is a worldwide trend and is seen across all ages and cultures. These ...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
It appears you are already on more than recommended dose of Glimepiride (3 + 2 mg). Ideally 4 mg is considered as the upper limit even though the manufacturers mention it can be given up to 8 mg per day. Beyond 4 mg there is very little benefit. Plus you are also taking Tenelegliptinin 20 mg. Ideally fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% should be < 6.8. Since there is no mention of that, it is difficult to know.
It looks like there ha...more

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. Since there is no information on fasting, pp glucose, hba1c%, lipid profile, dietary pattern & extent of daily exercise, there is no way to give any suggestion. Secondly your bmi (body mass index) is 28.65 kgs/sq meter (normal < 23 kgs/sq meter) which means you have an excess of over 15 kgs. This is a major hindrance in better glucose control. Plus I do not understand the reason for changing the medication. Please come ba...more
