There is no medical reason for teneligliptin causing weight loss and it can be due to uncontrolled diabetes and do check up and control diabetes perfectly.

You can take tab glycomet 500 mg one tablet in the night after dinner to control your fasting. Actually your hba1c is quite normal. It is only fasting hyperglycaemia is the problem. It should get controlled with glycomet only. Further if you tighten your diet, you can gradually stop glycomet as well.

Mr Samir Kanti Nath, I have seen the details given.
Your glucose levels mentioned are showing good control. Even HbA1c% is also very good. Please continue the same treatment and lifestyle. As regards BP which is quite low, so you may stop the drug Losartan50 mg for a few days. Keep monitoring the BP regularly. Only when it goes above normal then you may consider taking the medication. Thanks.

No, there's no know side effect of Teneligliptin in the form of throat irritation or infection. On the other hand if your blood sugar levels are high you are prone to infections. I suggest get your sugar and Glycosylated Hb checked
