Not pregnant.
HCG is too low and is not suggestive of pregnancy. The increased levels of prolactin is the cause of delay in periods. You can consult a gynecologist and start with bromocriptine and progesterone therapy to get a withdrawal bleeding and to again normalize the raised prolactin levels.

When a woman is pregnant, she produces high levels of a hormone called beta human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG). But if there is no baby, the elevated HCG levels can be a sign of a rare form of cancer called a gestational trophoblastic tumor. ... Doctors diagnosed her with cancer, and she began chemotherapy immediately.

They work by slowing down the production of thyroid hormone and do not cause permanent damage. While beta blockers will not change the levels of thyroid hormone in your blood, they will make you feel better by reducing some of the symptoms of hyperthyroidism, including increased heart rate, shakes, and ner...more

So, the first, more accurate and quantative (to know the rising titre when repeat...more

No, it is not a life threatening disease.
Confirm the diagnosis with reliable labs, Hb-HPLC.
Precaution during the marriage age/period has to be taken.
He/she with Thalssemia minor should not marry a person with Thalassemia minor to avoid a offspring with Thalassemia major.
Thalassemia-'major' is a condition which requires life long blood transfusions, iron chelation or HLA matched Allogeneic stem cell transplantation.
