Sir, I have taking tenofovir 30 mg since last 3 year and I have feel some side effect symptoms like weight loss, weakness, itching ,indizzation. If this type symptoms is risky for my body or life, and what I can do now please proscribe and suggest me. I am suffering from hepatitis B and my age is 55.

Itching dizziness and weaknesses are due to jaundice caused by Hepatitis B which is a self limiting illness. Take care of diet and total rest
Ask your doctor if you can stop the medicine
Take lots of water and ORS simple proteins like toned milk and curd coconut water. Cane juice and lots of simple proteins and carbs

Hi Doctor, When I checked my viral load test (HBV DNA QUANTITATIVE RT PCR) It’s found 2430108IU/ml. Doctor advised me to take tenofovir (Tenvir) 300 mg once a day for 1 year. Is it completely treatable. Is it possible to make my HBsAg negative. Thanks so much for the advice.

Now My age is 33 and I have diagnosed with Hepatitis B in 2016 Feb with viral load as 576UI/ML and LFT normal. Doctor suggested no treatment. In 2017 Nov when I retested the viral load became 1.2 crore UI/ML with elevated values of ALT 191 and AST 98. Now doctor suggested to start TENOFOVIR DF 300 mg daily once, but afraid of long term usage of this medicine and decided to go for Homeopathy. After using homeopathy treatment for one year when retest in 2018 Dec My LFT became normal with ALT and AST normal values and liver elastography too normal but viral load increased to 2.1 crore UI/ML. Now Gastroenterologist is saying liver is in good condition but virus has doubled and it is not good. He suggesting to start use of TENOFOVIR AF 25 mg (new pro drug to TENOFOVIR DF) daily once. Kindly suggest me. Will the usage of TENOFOVIR AF 25 mg is safe or any better homeopathy options.

Tenofovir is anytime better option than doing homeopathy treatment. Please listen to your gastroenterologist and do as he says. Tenofovir AF has better safety profile.

I did pep (tenofovir emtricitabine and raltegravir) for 28 days with 2 days only raltegravir missed. After 6 months I did std panel which was negative. Hiv test was immunochromatographic method. What type of test is this? Is it conclusive or should I go for another test?

Hello.
The test lab did was most likely 4th gen combo test for hiv 1 and 2.
As its negative at 6 months of exposure you are negative for hiv. (at 90 days after suspected exposure the seroconversion combo test is conclusive). The same is valid for other stis.
28 days of pep are enough. No need for any other tests please. Thanks. Have a good day.

The paranoid delusions which you describe can be due to the illness itself or medications (rarely). By dictum delusions cannot be argued with and overcome, it has to be treated with medications to gradually reduce the paranoia. Consult a psychiatrist for remedy. Good luck.

Hello sir. Pep given to you is good. Once you finish your pep please take 4 th gen combo test. No other test is needed for hiv at this time. Another test you can do at 45 days of exposure. However you need to test for other stis.
Please don't do any tests on your own or take treatment on your own. Consult any Dr. you wish for right advice. Thanks.

My uncle was detected with hepatitis b in 2001. He was seriously ill for one month. But later he recovered. Last week he had to undergo a minor surgery. His blood test showed hepatitis b. Earlier, no one in my family had any knowledge on this disease. But now everyone is panicked. Some are saying, there is no cure for it. As of now, he is perfectly alright. It seems that the virus is dormant. Is there any treatment for it? Would starting any antiviral therapy like entecavir break the dormancy of the virus? What should we do now. Last month, one close relative of us died due to cirrhosis (after infecting with hepatitis b). Please advise me.

Hi sir today my hiv dna pcr qualitative test result coming I sex with prostitute with condom but when I pull out the condom not come out with my penis I think I touch her vaginal with my penis without condom so I start pep treatment (telura tab) as pep within 72 hour after finish my pep treatment I take 1.p 24 antigen & anybody 1&2 (mean 3 days post pep 2.hiv dna pcr qualitative (mean 17 days post pep) it is conclusive or not please sir help me. please It is not conclusive what test should I done for conclusive.

You do not get hiv by touching vagina.
