Sometimes change in medicines require dose titration according to your body needs. So inform this to your doctor so that they can make required dose adjustments. Also start lifestyle precautions like - daily 40 mins of exercise, salt restriction, diet change (consult a dietician), quit smoking and drinking.

You can take telvas beta 50 Telvas Beta 50 Tablet is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Telmisartan and Metoprolol Succinate. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels. Metoprolol Succinate is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and lower blood pressure. Together they allow the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.

Both are good choices. My preference is for telmisartan single drug treatment for young person
what other care are you taking for high bp? Tests, diet etc. Maybe take an online consult if you want more details and thorough opinion.

You can reduce medicines gradually under medical supervision. Continue to measure BP once every month on fixed date after resting for ten minutes long term.
