High blood pressure and diabetes both diseases can be well controlled with appropriate treatment, dietary control and regular exercise. All three aspects are equally important. Stopping antihypertensive medication is bound to increase the blood pressure. Once the treatment is begun, at least a few days are needed for the particular drug to show its effect consistently. Same is the case with blood glucose or diabetes. Thanks.
