Additionally for anxiety I take etitop- 0.5 mg before sleep, other medications include akubon plus which also contains methylcobalamin- 1,500 mcg. Very worried about ed. Hello-
Erections result from a complex combination of brain stimuli, hormonal actions, and blood vessel and nerve functions. Any interference with with these factors can lead to impotence/ED. Other contributing causes of impotency include alcohol, cigarettes, arteriosclerosis, sexually transmitted diseases, high blood pressure, hormonal imbalances (such as low levels of thyroid hormones) or abusive masturbation. In some instances, impotence results from the lack of sexual desire. This cause...more

I consider this a sensitive matter. I am always in stress because of my Job, I am the GM or second in command of a large turnover construction company. My morning sugar is between 95 tp 110, but post breakfast after 2 hours is 225. After taking my lunch I take novorapid 10 units hence for few hours my sugar drops to normal range. Again in the evening it when Novorapid effect is gone it climbs to 250-275. Remains like that perhaps till I sleep after taking Lantus 20 units, again in the morning it is normal. HB1C today's test shows a reading of 7.0. What should I do to take this reading to 6.0.

Mr. Lybrate-user, firstly, I congratulate you for having taken very good care of all those multiple problems you are suffering from. Secondly, I must commend the detailed manner in which you have described your present status. Thirdly, you have managed your diabetes pretty well. For your lifestyle & busy work schedule, an hba1c of 7% is quite good. You might be able to bring it down marginally, to 6.5% if you take care of your diet a bit more meticulously & exercise regulary. Beware of hypos whe...more

I am 66 years male having diabetes since 2003, ht since 2010 taking following medicines for the last 18 months regularly: with breakfast: glimisave m-1=1 tab, ln block 5=1 +1/2 tab, zitamet 20+500 =1 tab, neurobion forte=1 tab, vitamin a to z or zevit =1 capwith dinner: aspisol 75 =1 tab, tab glimisave 1/2 tab. I also take bgr 35 two tab each half an hour before breakfast and dinner. My hba1c which jumped to 8.2 around two years back remained 6.7 for one year but now has increased to 7.7. There is 7 mm stone in the upper mid pole in the left side of my kidney. Around 20 years back it was 9 mm but now it is 7 mm causing no harm to the kidney and the doctors opine that since it is causing no harm, there is no need of its removal. I am taking plenty of water regularly and sometime homeopathic medicine berberis. Routine urine test yesterday showed 3-5 traces of blood (rbc) in the urine rest ok. My hemoglobin in 2017 was 10.9 but now measured yesterday it is 10.5. I am having the problem of urgency of urine especially in the morning and upon the thought to urinate. My prostrate measured 18.9 gms today. I am having cracks under the sole of my feet for the last 10 years which aggravate with the change of season. I have weak immune system. I take morning walk, exercise ,yoga and pranayam usually daily. Generally I am active and keep fit with the exception of colds during the change of season. My face looks pale. My height is 5-11 and my weight is 85 kg. Please advise the cause of low hemoglobin, urgency to urinate with poor bladder control and if the cracks under the feet is due to lower hemoglobin or something else. Please advise.

You might be having overactive bladder. You need treatment for that.
Secondly your hemoglobin is not much low.
Thirdly you need to look into serum creatinine.
Fourthly your prescription needs to be rationalised to give the optimal dose while reducing the total number of tablets which might be leading to irregular treatment and fluctuating hba1c.
Fifthly you can try urinary alkaliser to slowly erode the stone and pass through urine. To get an optimal prescription with lesser and s...more

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. This happens because you are irritated ln seeing that girl. This also means you had several bad experiences with that girl. Why don't you shift to anothed room? this problem will constantly present itself unless you distance yourself from that or change the attitude. I suggest psychological counselling. Take care.
