They are 2 different categories but they act in almost same way except telmisartan can cause dry cough. Dosage depends on the bp reading.

Ma'am continue the same dose which previously u take that is once daily tab because it is chances if u take one and half tab per day u r blood pressure will be very low. So my advice along with once daily medicine do some 30 min exercise daily and take low salt diet
