Hello as you asked about dried tears glands I would like to advise you to use triphal ghrut --2-4 drops twice daily. If you don't find the above medicines you can use simple cow's ghrut for 15 days. If you are feeling well and have no more trouble with it the continue it for a month.

If there indeed a foreign body, it needs to be removed physically.
Irritation also can give foreign body sensation, without any actual foreign body. If it has persisted for over a day, better see eye doctor in your area.

Dear lybrate user. Welcome to lybrate. I can understand. Loosing someone near and dear from a relationship is called grief and depression related to grief is pretty normal. But this sort of depression does not stay for long. This depression gets cleared within a span of some weeks. The best option for you is to undergo counseling and depression related therapy. Take care.

It is very important to use artificial tears, otherwise there are high chances of exposure keratopathy and may even lose eye.
Use refresh tears 2hrly and refresh liquigel 3 times a day and once at night.
Use tape to close the eye, while sleeping. Consult ophthalmologist to look for amount of exposure while closing eye if cornea is exposed greater than 1/3 rd, you will have to undergo temporary tarsoraphy (closure of eyelids) to save the eye.
