To loose weight fast your total calories expenditure should be higher than total calories intake.
Eat more vegetables, fruits n whole grains. Bank on proteins like lean meats, milk n milk products n eggs as they keeps you full for long. Eat small meals frequently instead of 3 large ones. Drink at least 3-4 ltrs of water. Try to add an strength training regimen in your schedule.

The life span on such clients depends on the immune system of the person.
In case the immune system in very strong it will keep the virus suppressed and the life span can extend more.
But specific duration can't be suggested.
