Hi doctors, I have been bloating for a few days, and loose motions from the day. Currently I am travelling and have o2 ofloxacin (200.0 mg) + ornidazole (500.0 mg) tablet only. How much dose I should take and till how many days. Appreciate your response. Thanks.

I've been detected with perianal abscess and was recommended with oral ofloxacin and orbidazol drugs along with sodium fusisate ointment for the application. Can it heal the abscess without surgical drainage?

The oral ofloxacin and ornidazole drugs along with sodium fusidate ointment for the application can heal a part of the abscess only without surgical drainage. You may need to drain the abscess.

Hi I am 27 years old from 2 years I have burning testicles. First time when it came I ate antibiotic and it went. But on second time its been four months .i still have pain. I have done blood and urine test its normal. i did ultrasound for testicles it was normal. I did ultrasound for prostate it was ok. I have taken several antibiotic and also permixon 160 mg. My doctor now gave me tarivid 200 for 10 days one tablet day and night. Its the second day of medication I feel slight punch on my upper left side with this medication but the burning stopped for a while and pain is shifted to the area between testicles and anus .please help me please.

the signs are suggestive of varicocele. Go for a testicular ultrasound and share reports for guidance.

1.st day headache weakness fever 2 and 3rd day vomiting 10 times and water diarrhoea greenish color. 10 minutes after I eat or drink I am getting diarrhoea which I took orally. Medication iv ofloxacin iv metronidazole and dns and rl 1 each. Ofloxacin and ornidazole tablet and rifaxin 400 mg tablet Still diarrhoea not controlling please tell me reason. Any hepatitis condition? Or normal bacterial infection.

Get a full blood report. It will help you find out the general cause of disease whether it is bacterial infection or not. To control diarrhoea, take Duphalac syrup one spoon 2 times a day. Continue taking antibiotic treatment along with it.

Can ofloxacin 100 mg be given to 3 years old kid. On top of its cover (cipla company) it is written "it may cause low sugar and mental health related side effects" is it true? My kid have been diagnosed with bilateral pneumonitis. She had iv antibiotic advent 450 and clarithromycin oral syrup for 10 days. Doctor again prescribed ofloxacin 100 twice daily for 7 days. Is that drug safe since on its cover it states it has side effects.

For short term use ofloxacin is fine. It is one of the medicine to treat pneumonitis.

I accidentally bites my inner side of lower lips. After 2-3 days, it coverts into mouth ulcer. Mouth ulcer is der from last 4-5 days. What is treatment for it? What medication should I take for it? Is antibiotic like ofloxacin required for mouth ulcer?

there is no need to take any antibiotics you can take Vit B complex and apply over the counter ointments for symptomatic relief. visit a dentist if it does heal with in a week.
