With the normal dose of 1mg per day finasteride does not help much in hair fall reduction in female. Please consult a good skin doctor to identify the cause of hair fall and give the most appropriate treatment.

Yes. Finasteride is good to prevent hair loss. However there is a less than 2%side effect rate of loss of libido or erectile dysfunction. If you feel anything like that stop the drug.
