Its antidepressant addiction you should not sudden stop your medication, currently you in relapsing phase & facing ssri (escitalopram) withdrawl symptoms. So pls consult your psychiatrist need to restart medicines. Vortioxetine is novel antidepresant you can try it under guidance of your local psychiatrist.

Yes you can but under a psychiatrist advise, because there must have been a reason for the change. Like some physical problems, side effect or drug resistance or something the psychiatrist suspected. So it is advisable you discuss your condition with a psychiatrist and the re-start.

first of all, I would like to know for how many days you are taking rexipra 10 mg and 15 mg tablets, as these medications take time to show maximum action and also some of the side effects would reduce after use for adequate duration. In your case I have following recommendations:

Yes antidepressants always have some side effects, it can become addiction also, soo I will advise you to go for homoepathic treatment along with your treatment, soo that your medicine can be reduced gradually and by time it can be avoided.

Don't stop any medication without your doc's advice.
If you suddenly stop a medicine, the effect from the previous days carry on for some more days; that's why you feel better. Eventually the medicine will lose its effects & you won't feel good.
