I am 52 years male, have history of depression & anxiety but my query is about skin condition, I developed balanitis when I was taking many psychiatric medicines, it is there with me for 3 years though now I have stopped all psychiatric medicines, foreskin is stuck to penis head, tip of the glans has red glistening patch on both sides & also little bit at the edge of the glans, foreskin stuck to penis also has distinct reddish tinge, wife has no skin problem. I tried fluconazole 150, candida & such ointments but did not wok, tried homoeopathy, nothing, used ayurvedic oils, they did help in pulling back the skin to some extent but not completely & very slowly, finally, now I am trying tacrolimus 0.1 ointment now for more than 2 weeks & I am seeing further improvement, redness is there but slightly dull, skin is coming down further, now my query is, there is white discharge coming from a small opening near glans edge on foreskin, this is an old issue though, i.e. White discharge, can I use any antibacterial ointment for that? And which one? Can I use antibacterial ointment along with tacrolimus? I also have a bad throat, what oral antibiotic should I take for that & which should I avoid with tacrolimus? Have done tests for diabetes, fasting, pp & random & blood ketone & they all have come negative. Thanks.

Treatment for balanoposthitis needs to be retired properly. It will disappear subject to the intelligent treatment of the condition. I do not think you stopping psychopharmacological agents required.
You can try drugfree treatment for anxiety and depression you have.
Homoeopathy will not work nor Ayurveda here.
Take a second opinion.
Good luck.

Homeopathic is safe but very slow and in most of cases it can not stop the spread of disease i. E old patches shows some recovery but new white patches continue to come even when we are using homeopathy.<...more

Any allopathic medicine can not cure vitiligo. It is cure by homoeopathic medicine under proper consultation. It may take up to 3 year. According to your body constitution. But it can be cured only by homoeopathic medicine. Nd it depends upon from who. You take medicine.

I developed scaly dry black lesions on both sides of urethral opening of penis nearly one year ago. I tried maximum antifungal and antibacterial creams like kz, lulifin, fucidin but there was no no improvement. Then I went to a dermatologist he said its frictional dermatitis and gave me desonide cream and cetaphil moisturizer but there was no improvement. Then I went to another doctor he said its verrucous skin over glans and gave tacroz ointment, efficort, cetaphil moisturizer but still there was was no improvement. The third doctor gave me livalite lotion to use but there was no improvement. Now it has been 1.5 years since I have those lesions they are painless, do no itch, they do not harm but very unattractive to look. So now I want to undergo laser therapy to get rid of it. Please suggest me how to cure it?
