It is used to treat menstrual disorders and abnormal vaginal bleeding in women caused due to hormonal imbalances. It is also used for birth control to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

One gets withdrawal bleeding 3 to 8 days after stopping sysron if there is no pregnancy and no other problem. (little longer treatment gets better results).
If 8 days have passed meet gynecologist for change in treatment and reports.

Sharon being a hormonal pills will either stop the menses or bring it.
Anything can happen.
Better take proper treatment if it is regular problems otherwise for occasional irregularities then avoid taking such hormonal pills.

If sexually active do the urine pregnancy test, if not active or pregnancy ruled out then wait for few days or meet gynecologist.

Hi lybrate-user. Ot takes a while for the medicines effect to wear off. Wait for a week fter stopping the medicine and see if you get your period. This delay in periods in a known and expected side effect of taking these medicines.

It should arrest the bleeding within 4 to 5 days but do not make the mistake of discontinuing the tablets before 20 days. Within 2 to 3 days of dose completion a new cycle will begin.
