It is taken for twice a day for 5 days to get delayed menses. For irregular menses, sysron is not the medicine at it has only progesterone. For irregular menses, oc pills like novelon or femilon to be started for 21 days starting from day 2 of menses.

One should wait about 1 week after stopping tablet to get period. This is called withdrawal bleeding and success for same is higher if tabs are taken for 7-10 days. Of course result is always after stopping tablets.

Hi,
regesterone will not increase the chance of conceiving. There are other progesterone tablets which will support pregnancy. Your doctor has to prescribe. Eg duphaston.

Regesterone is a synthetic progesterone and it is given as oral pills, harm is that it is masquiline hormone - leads to water retention, weight gain and low cycle, even after stopping this, it remains in the system for few months for normal unaffected cycle to start. Not given during pregnancy.
