Hi I need to know about sysron tablet, I toot that tablet on 29th of november I did not get the periods yet, m not sexually active yet then y m not getting periods.

Dear lybrate-user, norethisterone is not a contraceptive pill. She can get pregnant on those medications. She should be taking oral contraceptive pills ie. Pregnancy avoiding pills.

Hello these are hormonal pills, they can extend your periods for 5 days .when you stopped it, immediately withdrawal bleeding starts. U should start it according to your desired dates n five days before. Doses twice a day for five days.

During the time of my intake of norethisterone for delaying periods, I had sexual intercourse. After that, I took the i-pill also continuing the norethisterone. After stopping norethisterone, I got my periods four days later on 5-09-2021 which continued for seven days. Is there any chance of pregnancy? Although I had the periods for seven days after stopping norethisterone, I am delayed for my next period. When will I have next periods?

There is no chance of pregnancy and your next period will come on the due date or a little late by 4-5 days.
