4.2 years old, 20 kg weight, suffering from 102 fever from last night. Currently as per doctor taking Dispersible paracetamol Tablet 250 with Cefpodoxime proxetil tablets Macpod 100 DT He has taken 3 paracetamol and 2 antibiotics But fever is not coming down. Please suggest doctors.

No, Because mumps is a virus, it doesn't respond to antibiotics or other medications. However, you can treat the symptoms to make yourself more comfortable while you're sick. Take over-the-counter pain relievers, such as acetaminophen and ibuprofen, to bring down your fever.

From many year im doing treatment of my pimples but it never goes amd too many in head face body but when I eat cefoprox I dnr have pimple for 1 month and more. I need to know why with cefoprox my pimple gone and is there any permanent treatment.

I am prescribed monocef 0 100 (5 ml) for my daughter - 2 times a day. My daughter is 3, years and 3 months age. She is very resistant to any type of medicine. Above all monocef tastes very bad. So we give her in parts (1 ml at regular interval of 20 min) so that every ml can get absorbed in the blood stream and we do not kiss the past amount is she throws up. So every time we give her 1 ml, she sips some water to take in so that she doesn't throws up the part. Requesting to suggest if it is ok for her to sip some water with every part of the medicine? She can't drink the medicine without that.

Bette to mix it with honey and give the appropriate dose at one time if she vomit it out within half an hour then repeat the dose if after half an hour then no need to repeat.

The usual course of cepodem is 5 day and may extended to 7 or 10 days based on the severity of infection and response.

Parotid infections are mostly viral so no role of antibiotics as such. Only paracetamol 100 mg 3 times daily will help.
