I cannot see any real need for the cream in a 6 year old and sucral ano cream is used to treat chronic anal fissures. This cream is known for providing quick and systematic relief from this condition. While patients can start feeling the numbing sensation of this cream almost immediately, it can take anywhere between 2 days to a week for rash or other visible symptoms of the problem to disappear.

After taking Sitz bath you should gradually dilate anal passage by applying lidocaine 2% gel. Then massage Sushruta ointment in anal passage. After that you should also put 5 ml of Sushruta oil in anal passage twice daily. By doing this you will have about 50% relief in your pain. For anal fissure use cremagel. Because it contains nifedepine which relaxes the anus for easier passage of stool. Sucral ano is for piles.

Hi lybrate-user, please stop the ointment which is having steroid (methadone) in it. It is not advisable. For piles, you need to take care of your constipation and straining. Point sucral ano twice daily is often helpful. Also to sit in warm water and take a laxative. But most importantly, please visit a surgeon nearby to confirm your diagnosis, not any other disease.
