Hello, Myoprol XL 25 mg is for BP control, But in your age don't take it regularly becaus eit has many side effects also. Please try to control your BP by reducing you work stress, Maintain you. Diet that will be easy to control at this age.

Myoprol XL 25 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of chest pain (Angina), heart failure and high blood pressure. Myoprol XL 25 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Myoprol XL 25 mg Tablet with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.

Hello there. Supermet XL and stamlo are both anti hypertensives. But they are different. One is a beta blocker and the other is a calcium channel blocker. If you have high blood pressure you may have to take it for life time.

It's just a matter of reviewing his case at frequent intervals and achieving an ideal BP ( or to at least bring it to 130/90 and not more than that. ) Keep checking the BP at different times ( morning and night ) and be in touch with the doctor.
