For anal fissure use cremagel. Because it contains nifedepine which relaxes the anus for easier passage of stool. Sucral ano is for piles.

Dear lybrate-user, It is important to clinically examine a fistula and determine the extent and orientation of its tract. Depending on complexity of tract, there are several minimal invasive, modern and traditional methods of treatment of fistula with high success. In case you have a fistulogram or MRI scan of the tract, the surgeon will be able to give you better options. Regards

There are other medications like lactulose, movicol etc which should be ideally used in children to relieve constipation. Sucral ano is used for treatment of anal fissures, fistula, haemorrhoids.

It is not necessary that bleeding occurs due to fissure. It may b due to hard stool which tears down anal skin which may lead to bleed again. And another situation there may be pile mass remaining inside.

There is no ill effect for you, while using lidocaine gel. If it is severe pain, it is better to go for vaginal dilatation under short anesthesia by a Gynecologist. Otherwise conjugal bliss will be tarnished by the pain with psychological trauma.

Hello, lidocaine is classified as a category B drug, so safe to be used in pregnancy and lactation. In your case, it is just a topical use (cream), so the absorption into the body systemically and its secretion in breast milk is very less and would not pose any such risk for the infant during breast feeding.
