Anal fistula
An anal fistula is a chronic inflamed, abnormal communication track between the anal canal and the outer skin of the anus. Commonly this disease develops after spontaneous bursting or operation of an abscess located in this area. It then remains open and discharges pus, even after the abscess has healed.

I want to discuss on anal fistula medication. Hello, if you have fissure in ano either consult a surgeon nearby you and apply ointment (combination of nifedipine and lidocaine) locally twice daily. Take tab (combination of trypsin- chymotrypsin and pcm) twice daily and plenty of fluids and high fibre diet.

Avoid spicy food items and not to eat junk food and we also need to avoid peanuts and potatoes in our daily diet and For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and apply lidocaine ointment and if necessary get it operated and as of now continue your ongoing medication with pantop and a laxative

There may be just an external pile at the border of the fissure. This has to be removed by a small surgery. We offer bloodless ultrasonic surgery.

Dear patient,
firstly the condition anal fissure is mostly associated with hard stool, straining & irregular bowel motion, so to get rid of fissure permanently you have to do lifestyle modification for regular bowel motions like fibre rich diet, plenty of oral fluids; avoid meat in diet, etc.
Secondly, whether anal fissure completely be cured with ano-metrogyl or conservative management only, can only be commented after clinical examination of your peri-anal region, anal sphincter tone. ...more
