Apart from taking symptomatic treatment I will suggest you to take injection vitcofol 2 cc intramuscularly every alternate days for five pricks over the buttocks through a health professional and Avoid spicy food items and not to eat junk food and we also need to avoid peanuts and potatoes in our daily diet.

Whatever medicines your taking for GERD/ acidity, none of it will work in GERD. Sucral is for peptic ulcers. And to be taken before meals, not after meals. U can use lactifiber in place for softovac and that too at night time.

First change diet i.e. Take plenty of fluids, green leafy vegetables, fruits AND avoid spicy, masala and fried food stuff. About medications you are already taking medicines. With these medicines you can go for sitz bath twice daily. Apply ointment after sitz bath.

Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). You have to improve your food habits do
1. Take 2/ 3 glass of warm water in the morning before brush 2. Take more water in day
3. Take meals at fixed hrs, chew food properly/ completely, no eating quickly 4. Take small amount of food at a time, take more frequent meals - may be five times a day.
5. No spicy/ fried/ fast/ junk/processed food. 6. No smoking, chewing gum, and carbonated beverages.
6. No milk for few days, can take curd, no uncooked salad

Hello, thanks for the query.
Yes a person with hypothyroidism can use sucral syrup, however, ti should be used at least 2 to 3 hours after taking the thyroxine tablet as it can affect the absorption of levothyroxine. Thanks.
