It seems that your grandpa is suffering from a painful blind eye due to end stage neovascular glaucoma. At this stage, the treatment options are only to make the patient comfortable and prevent pain . Visual recovery is very very unlikely. He can try diode CPC as an option to reduce pressure. In case even that does not work, the removal of that eye might be the only possible solution

Have you got his hba1c checked. While sugar levels during tests may be normal this test gives an actual picture of whether sugar levels are really in control. Also not only sugar levels but also bp and lipid levels also must be under strict control.

Rosuvastatin can certainly raise liver enzymes. It is a good medicine though for people with coronary artery disease and offers significant benefits. You can do periodic blood tests for liver enzymes for next 2 months or so, and every 2-3 months thereafter. You should take a combined decision with your cardiologist whether you should continue the drug or stop it.

They can be taken together. However, atorvastatin is not a medicine for high triglycerides. Instead of medicines, try diet for nafls and high triglycerides. Triglycerides are manufactured in liver from alcohol sugar jaggery and starchy foods, reduce these items in diet. Increase traditional health foods like yoghurt cheese nuts eggs butter vegetable etc which are low in glucose. For more information please discuss on phone. Best wishes.

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. You have given description of drugs being taken for hypertension, nothing about his diabetes (either the treatment or glucose levels as well as hba1c%). Usually if blood glucose is not in good control (fasting closer to 100 m, pp 150 to 170 mg & hba1c% < 7%or just around 7%), then the person is invariably in very good health.
