Hello, premet is a steroid which can raise blood sugar in diabetics
even though the fasting blood sugar is 75 while treating with steroid blood sugar may raise. To overcome this your doctor has prescribed insulin.
Insulin dose should be adjusted according to fasting and postprandial blood sugars
kindly follow your doctors advice!

Dear Lybrate user
your situation seems your wife might be suffering from some lung ailment and not getting relieved with steroids. You did not mention any other drugs she is taking and whats the investigations done to her to confirm the disease. Immediately consult a general physician or pulmonologist so that the infection if at all present will not spread too much. Get well soon.

This looks like food allergy to diet in the previous night. Did you take prawns; shell fish sea fish etc. Lot of nonveg food especially cooked outside with coloring agents can cause this. Eat from home. Pain killers can cause skin swelling. But food is the first suspect.

Ideally follow doctors advice as there is relatively little information on this disorder.
One tip. Natural food based Vit A and sunlight rich Vit D will help. If she can sit for 10 to 15 mibs daily in early morning sunlight and have red, orange rich vegrtables and fruits, it will help.
If you can approach a Healer. Some drugless support will helpnboth of you.
Regards.
