Dear lybrateuser,
- You can drink water as per your requirement depending on exercise & environmental temperature
- spread your intake over the day, to avoid frequent washroom visits sip water at regular intervals instead of drinking the whole glass at a time
- also see that you don't partake more than 2-3 cups of tea, coffee in a day as the caffeine content in it also acts as a mild diuretic increasing the urine output.

Instead of working to digest the food and absorb the nutrients to create energy, your body expends energy to regulate your temperature. Hi, water is needed as per weight. About 30-45 ml per kg body weight is your requirement. Water acts as a circulatory medium transporting nutrients, temperature regulation, releasing vital hormones, cell division and growth, releases toxins from the body and so on.
