Hello lybrate-user,
stem cell treatment is now available in india
it is a bit expensive as the major cost include formation of injection from bone marrow.
It could cost you about 3 lacs in india and it is quite cheap as compare to foreign countires who are offering this treatment.
Please let me know if you want to arrange an appointment with specialist.
Regards.

Preserving stem cell (cord blood) is a good thing. But the so much hyped benefits are not absolutely true. Research works are going on, so if affordability is not a barrier, you should go for it.

Hi lybrate-user,
I appreciate you seeking clarification. Immunotherapy basically aims at improving one's immune system function to fight diseases including cancer. Its otherwise known as biologic therapy and can be classified as either active, passive or hybrid. Stem cell therapy on the other hand, uses stem cells for treatment of diseases including cancer. To exemplify, bone marrow transplant (BMT), allogenic or autologous is essentially a stem cell therapy. Hope this clarifies. Take care.<...more

Hello Mr. lybrate-user
Till today, stem cell treatment can't cure both the diseases. There have been few reports by some people claiming treatment, but all of them have been found to be false.
Kindly do not fall into trap of some people who claim treatment with stem cells.
Thank you.
