It is a combination of tramadol and paracetamol. It is very much a safe drug, however it may have some minor side effects in a few subset of patients like constipation, nausea and vomiting, sedation etc. It is always better to take such medicine only in the prescribed dosage by your doctor.

Can tramadol 150 milligrams suppository be taken long term as in years? I have intractable chronic pelvic pain and this is the only medication that helps me and I am wondering if there are long term effects in suppository form also like addiction. Thank you for any inputs.

It is not advisable to use tab Tradol HCL for long periods. It can produce addiction.Better to get opinion from treating doctor, as you have used it for long period.
