I am 28 years old and i've been sexually active with my boyfriend for a year now. There was a time we used to have sex almost everyday but a time came where we do it once in a month due to distance and work. Around february this year, I treated infection, same thing in august, which came with serious pain during urination which I also treated with ciprofloxacin, metronidazole and flagyl. But for some days now, i've been having pains in my lower abdomen and by yesterday (27/11/2019, I started seeing green come out with my discharge and now i'm on medication again. Yes. Darker color urine is one of the known side effects of metronidazole. However if symptoms doesn't subside on stopping the medication, you need to get evaluated further.
