fungal infections are in the rise for past 2 years all india. Fungus became very intelligent and stubborn and making people suffer like anything. Fungus is not responding like before. All precautions like washing clothes in hot water, drying up from hot sun, ironing all clothes .avoid wearing jeans and tight fitting clothes .take care of pets if you have. Treatment for Fungal Infection:-Stop all other applications. Cap. Itraconazole (Itrasys/ Canditral) 100 mg twice daily for 2 weeks. Sertacide Cream for application once daily for 1 month. Sebifin cream once daily for 1 month Tab. Fexova 180 mg (if required in case of itching) The treatment has to be complete otherwise the condition will recur. Blood Test- Blood Sugar Fasting & PP. Serum Insulin Fasting and PP.

Fungus in sputum is matter of concern. It might be due to low immune status. So it should be addressed promptly by physician. The increase in creatinine level maybe due to antifungals or due to undetected ckd.
