Sorry to hear this. As you are overweight, with probably high bmi, as per details given, you definitely need workout. The details given in your complaints and your profile details don't match. Anyway, locked knee after workout and running can be due to ligament/cartilage/ menicus injury. Go to a knee specialist. Glucosamine won't be of much help. Panadol can cause addiction. Better to find out the root cause.
Thanks.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, Apart from taking medicines do proper exercises for your knees. Exercises like strenght training of your quadriceps especially VMO, stretching for hamstring, calf,TFl, proprioceptive training, apply ice 3 times a day if it is swelled too much, you can also apply hinged knee brace if you feel pain during walking in your knees. Consult a good qualified Physiotherapist for proper care further.

How did you get the knee pain, was it related to trauma or no? exercises can help you a great deal -- like quadriceps strengthening exercises -- try to learn and do it at home, or supervised by a physiotherapist,

Hi Kindly see a physiotherapist. Medications seem to be okay. But you need a proper stretching and exercises plan. Do the exercises under supervision of a therapist who can correct you in case you r doing it wrong. Do contact me in case of any other query. Regards
