Dear user, this medication you mentioned will help with any cold and eases out the breathing if there was a difficulty present. Dry cough will be present due to the healing process in the lungs. Ask your daughter to take steam inhalation 3-4 times a day. Also I will be able to prescribe a syrup for cough but you will have to come for a private consult online as I can not prescribe here. Good luck. You can consult me for more doubts and medications regarding this by clicking on my photo and click...more

Please meet an allergist and undergo skin prick tests to identify the aeroallergen that is troubling you. From your history it is evident that it is either a fungal spore or a particular pollen that is only found during the monsoons in delhi region.
Either ways, sublingual immunotherapy prescribed by your allergist should be able to finally permanently desensitise you to that allergy.

Dear Ms. lybrate-user,
generally steroids are not recommended in children but can be used if needed based on the symptoms. However generally they are reserved for patient with severe or long standing disease rather than recent onset symptoms. Cough syrups are helpful to a certain extent in controlling cough. If your daughter is older than 1 year, honey 2- 5 ml as needed can help loosen mucous and help with cough perhaps just as efficiently as any cough syrup. (do not give honey if she is les...more

Hello Miss lybrate-user,
I think there are two issues here
1. The recurrent asthma attacks. You need tp consult a chest physician and remain under close supervision. The drug has to be adjusted depending on the severity of your symptoms and frequency of asthma attacks.
2. The tremor is due to the formonide and any other drug (beta agonist) that you may be adding to the nebuliser. This is a common side effect and will go once the dose is adequately adjusted.
