It is not safe to take pain killers during menstrual cramps. Inner layer of uterus containing blood vessels sheds of in the form of menstrual blood. Uterus is in wounded condition at this moment, use of pain killers at this moment results in pus formation in uterus which later manifest as cyst or fibroid or even endometriosis.
