It can be taken for long duration 2 to 5 years but monitoring should be by psychiatrist. Long term side effect of antipsychitics are tardive dyskinesia ,metabolic syndrome & weight gain etc so proper follow psychiatrist.

If the pain is sever please don't go for exercise without any proper guidance.
If you have mri consult ayurveda Dr. and do proper therapy with medicine. As the pain reduce gradually you can start doing exercises as they teach you. With in 14 days you can be fine.

It depends on nature of cough and weight of the baby. If weight of your baby is more than 8 kg and having wet cough and congested chest then it's safe for him.
